Bird Island-Hawk Creek Mutual Insurance Company is a proud Statewide Mutual insurance company chartered under Minnesota Statute 66A. Effective March 1, 2024, we expanded our charter to become a statewide mutual, allowing us to provide coverage across the entire state of Minnesota.

Founded in 1892, our company has remained steadfast in its mission to protect what matters most to our policyholders. For over 130 years, Bird Island-Hawk Creek Mutual has stood strong through generations of change a consistent commitment to safeguarding Minnesota’s families, farms, and communities.

We specialize in property, liability, and inland marine insurance for farms and homes, offering a wide range of customizable coverages to meet the unique needs of Minnesota residents and agricultural operations.
